|DR. FERDINAND'S TORONTO LIVE COURSE DATES||
From the desk of Dr. Brett L. Ferdinand
Congratulations on your interest in applying to medical school. I remember when I was faced with the same career choice. Attending medical school was one of the most rewarding decisions of my life. As the senior surgical resident at one of Canada's leading programs for General and Trauma Surgery. I am fulfilling one of my life long dreams and career goals. Medicine is my first passion in life.
My second passion in life is teaching. In 1987 I created the first Canadian Medical School Preparatory Course. I first offered the program in the summer of that year. My enthusiasm to help pre-med students became so great that in 1993 I wrote the first edition of my "Gold Standard For Medical School Admissions" which, in addition to being a comprehensive MCAT guide, covers all aspects of getting into medical school. I revised the "Gold Standard" in 1995 by adding three full length MCAT exams. Thousands of students across Canada and the United States have used the "Gold Standard". Teaching pre-med students in my Medical School Preparatory Course (MSPC™) and reaching thousands more through the "Gold Standard For Medical School Admissions" has sustained my second passion in life.
I encourage you to read all of this information. You will find information that you will want at your fingertips during the medical school application process.
As you analyze the anatomy of The Gold Standard Program, I am certain that you will agree that there is no program that is more focused and more complete. I am pleased to be able to offer the individual components of The Gold Standard Program for those who have less time. Let me emphasize that for the most part I teach my program from actual past MCAT exams. You will receive these as part of your course materials.
As I finish this letter I realize that I have personally taught the
MSPC™ for sixteen consecutive years. It is my intention to personally
instruct the MSPC™ in the summer of 2003. This means that the MSPC™ will
be the only MCAT and Medical School Admissions Course available to you:
I sincerely hope to see you in the MSPC™ during the summer of 2003! In the interim, please do all that you can to ensure that your grades remain high!
Brett L. Ferdinand, M.D.
P.S. My program will incorporate the changes to the MCAT being introduced in 2002.
